Will Langhorne
to Compete at the Nurenburgring for BCN F3000 Team
I am looking forward to returning to competition with the BCN Competition
Team for the next two F3000 races. I am very grateful for the opportunity
to compete in this prestigious series with the BCN F3000 Team.
After competing in Monaco and making the appropriate seat adjustments, I expect
to have an outstanding race at the Nurnenburgring and continue my charge into
professional motorsports. The Nurenburgring is very similar to Road America
with its length and scenic views, which suits my driving style. After a brief
return to the United States for some training in shifter karts, I feel confident
of obtaining good results at the Nurenburgring.
I wish a speedy recovery to my teammate Alessandro Piccolo and hope to see
him back in the seat as soon as possible. I plan to build upon my result at
Monaco and turn it into a points paying position with an eye on the podium.
As one of four Americans in F3000 it is nice to see Americans competing in
Europe with the ambitions of one day competing in Formula 1.
